Exactly 2 weeks from this morning the Ride to Conquer Cancer will begin. As I’m training and starting to feel like I’m just about ready, I’m getting very excited. Last year was an awesome experience.

It’s a late start because of an injury, but here we go for 2012.

Hi Everyone

Just wanted to report on the bottle drive we organized through Facebook to kick start fundraising for this year’s Ride to Conquer Cancer that I’ll be doing in June.

On Thursday of last week my son Liam and I headed out with a box of Timbits, a new play-list of our favorite music and a list of friends who were donating their empty alcohol bottles to the cause.

Happy to say that thanks to every one’s generosity we raised $107. That puts this year’s fundraising at 2%. Long way to go but a good start.

I’ve got a whole bunch of other fundraising ideas to organize over the next few months so keep an eye on the site for how you can take part. Plus you can always make a donation by clicking the “badge” at the top of this site.

Hey Everyone.

Thanks again for the amazing support for the Ride to Conquer Cancer in 2011. This is my official announcement that I’m doing it again in 2012.

Over the next few days I’ll share the plans for this year’s first fundraiser, a holiday bottle drive.
